Occupational Noise Hand-Arm & Whole Body Risk Assessments
Employers must ensure that controls are implemented in the workplace to reduce their employees’ risk of excessive noise and vibration exposure in accordance with the Control of Noise at Work and Vibration at Work Regulations 2005. A survey with measurement and a Risk Assessment of the findings performed by a competent person is key to achieving compliance with the regulations and protecting workers' health and safety.

Workplace Air Monitoring
What is air monitoring in the workplace? Workplace processes can generate fume vapour particulate, and the only successful way to determine if levels are detrimental to health is to monitor them. Knowing precisely what workers are breathing in helps you complete a suitable and sufficient risk assessment under the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations (COSHH). We are also able to sample for Isocyanates following MDHS 25/4 using impinger and treated filter.
Local Exhaust Ventilation Testing
Under the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations (COSHH), extraction systems within a workplace must have a statutory examination and test at least once in every 14 months (Regulation 9 of The Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002). This ensures that the LEV is still working as effectively as originally intended and is helping to protect your employees' health.
Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH)
A safe working environment is a cornerstone of protecting the health of the workforce. This can only be achieved by understanding the workplace hazards and assessing their potential for causing harm. A COSHH Risk Assessment is a legal requirement under Regulation 6 of The Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002. Once completed, it should clearly identify the hazards and the control measures required to protect workers' health and safety.
