Russel Drakeley

Russel Drakeley is a highly experienced Health, Safety, Environmental and Occupational Hygiene Consultant with over 30 years of expertise across the rail, logistics, engineering, manufacturing and construction sectors.

As the Principal Consultant at Salvus Business Solutions, Russel leads on risk management, compliance auditing, occupational hygiene assessments and the delivery of accredited training. His background includes senior health and safety management roles at Birmingham Airport, British Rail, and a range of consultancy positions supporting UK industry.

Russel is a Chartered Member of IOSH, a Practitioner Member of IEMA, and a Registered Environmental Practitioner with the Society for the Environment. He also holds membership with the Faculty of Occupational Hygiene (BOHS).

With extensive qualifications in health, safety, environment, energy, and occupational hygiene – including multiple NEBOSH Diplomas, IEMA and BOHS certifications, and specialist accreditations – Russel brings both deep technical expertise and practical, hands-on knowledge to his training.
